EIICHIRO SAKATA
『Stormy Weather (Special Edition)_E』
The animals, plants and other subjects in this series of nature/landscape photographs were shot over a period of about 17 years since 1998. Based on an interpretation of today’s social situation as “Stormy Weather”, the series was inspired by a rather positive mindset looking for “ways to build a better society.”
The series received a great response both in Japan and abroad, and functions as a concise introduction to a lesser known side of Eiichiro Sakata, who is primarily known for his portrait photographs.
