By being torn, a “photo” transforms into “paper”. When viewers see that this photo/ paper is maintaining its visuality at the same time exposing its texture as a material, they experience two feelings; they immerse themselves in the photo, and they feel being rejected by the photo. Through re-shooting, the photo takes away the meaning of the subject, and the viewer becomes aware of the texture of the photographic paper. It has a multi layered structure in which the pieces of the photo are piled up on each other not in a line, but with different angles.
