『A Glimmer of Light Sakata, 2010』
“I have a feeling that there has always been a subtle distance between my father and me. It’s hard to tell now whether it was for his disability or for another reason.” Following his father’s death, the photographer has been returning to the family home almost every month to photograph the trace of his father in the corners of the rooms, in his mother, and himself. It was an attempt to playback the memory of his father and to bring him backto life “quietly, just a little while longer”.
